THE Paranormal IS REAL
For much of the time, she believed there must be an intruder coming and going from the home. Then, the activity escalated. Why are doors opening, lights flashing, and the chilling voices of men, women, and children echoing through the rooms?
These unexplained events coincided with a specific repressed memory from her childhood brought on by the condition called Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or C-PTSD.

Recurring trauma can lead to Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) Unlike acute PTSD, which results from a single shocking event, CPTSD results from repeated or prolonged trauma, often at the hands of someone who is supposed to care & love you. Chronic PTSD, characterized by persistent symptoms for an extended period, distinguishes itself from acute PTSD.
When the events are triggered, it is not like a memory such as going to the beach as a child.
It sets off an event that many doctors refer to as A RELIVING.

'A Reliving' refers to the involuntary and intrusive recall of traumatic experiences. It can manifest as recurring and distressing memories, vivid nightmares, or flashbacks, where individuals feel as if they are re-living the trauma in the present moment.
Mrs. Matthews does not have actual memories of the childhood event that caused her so much distress, although she knows what happened but no details after one of the two men made the comment "Why do they always cry?"
When this event replays in a reliving it's the physical intrusion of the attack by the two men She Feels. Leaving her sore and sick as if it just happened, again.

Dr. Carl Jung being the first and then many doctors and scientists since have
concluded that a Reliving being such an emotional charged event, can actually change the environment of the sufferer- Causing a poltergeist effect.

Years of strange and unexplained things made her doubt herself more and more.
It was not until moving to this rural acreage property that she was able to find strength and acceptance she needed to change her whole belief system by finally coming to understand that

Now fifteen years of documenting their home and communicating with others
she is now on her sixth book and has even started the seventh.
